The American Association of Publishers announced last week the winners of the 2011 PROSE awards for Scholarly Excellence. We are pleased to report that De Kooning: A Retrospective has been named Best in the Art History & Criticism category.

The PROSE Awards recognize the most outstanding professional, reference and scholarly works produced in one year by more than 300 publishers. Congratulations to The Museum of Modern Art, New York and to John Elderfield, who curated this seminal exhibition and authored its award-winning catalogue!
