Celebrating Abraham Lincoln

Today marks the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's assassination. He died the following morning, on April 15, 1865. But he is perhaps best remembered for his remarkable Gettysburg Address.

We are proud to represent T. Adler Books' beautifully typeset reproduction of Lincoln's iconic speech, which many historians consider the greatest in American history. At 272 words and lasting only three minutes when read aloud, Lincoln's legendary speech still resonates as one of the world's great statements of freedom, democracy and human equality, and has long been a cornerstone in the political discourse of tolerance.
