Modern Women, going, going, strong

Frida Kahlo's "Self-Portrait with Cropped Hair" (1940) is reproduced from Modern Women, MoMA's essential 512-page survey of women artists in the Museum's collection. Originally published in 2010, the book immediately sold out. In 2016, we received this much-anticipated reprint featuring essays by nearly 50 writers, and work by more than 200 pioneers of their forms, from Aino Aalto to Eva Zeisel, Berenice Abbott to Carrie Mae Weems, Marina Abramovic to Andrea Zittel. Now, as we celebrate this landmark publication during Women's History Month, 2018, we are down to our last 300 copies. Get it while you can! It's still the ultimate resource.
