'Marisol and Warhol Take New York' opens at Pérez Art Museum!

Warhol called Marisol “the first girl artist with glamour,” musician Eleanor Friedberger writes, “but ‘Marisol—Stop Motion’ wasn’t just another screen test of a vacant, beautiful face. Here, Warhol gives Marisol agency: she moves around like a busy bee, shows us her artwork and mirrors her sculptures. We want to know more about her.”
