Drink the sunset!

This week we toast the autumnal equinox, which rings in the bittersweet change from summer to fall, with Sunset Cocktails, the intoxicating new recipe book by French artist and architect Guillaume Aubry and Paris-based American mixologist Sterling Hudson. Bold, playful and evocative, this pocket-sized, 90-page hardcover contains a dozen cocktail recipes inspired by the universal beauty of the sunset (including one that's actually named "Equinox," as seen above). “Inspired by masterpieces taken from a very wide selection of works of art, they are both tongue-in-cheek homages to the history of phenomenology, and personal invitations to tackle it hands-on,” Aubry writes. “Let’s experiment and drink the sunset. Incorporate the burning star. Ingest the infinity of space. Assimilate the universe.”
