'Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes' spits in the eye of the dragon

In celebration of Marvel's mega-record-breaking release of Avengers: Endgame, we're featuring John Buscema and George Klein's original cover art for Avengers #57, published in 1968. It's reproduced from Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes, releasing this week in the United States. "Marvel is a cornucopia of fantasy," the late, great Marvel legend Stan Lee is quoted. "A wild idea, a swashbuckling attitude, an escape from the humdrum and prosaic. It's a serendipitous feast for the mind, the eye and the imagination, a literate celebration of unbridled creativity, coupled with a touch of rebellion and an insolent desire to spit in the eye of the dragon."
