On Marcel Duchamp's birthday, a spectacular treat

Today we're celebrating the birth of Marcel Duchamp, July 28, 1887, with a fresh shipment of Boîte-en-valise, the exquisitely made facsimile reinterpretation of Duchamp's famous "Box in a Valise"—more commonly known as his museum in a suitcase—originally produced between 1935 and 1941 in an edition of 300. Originally housed in a leather suitcase with 69 replicated miniature artworks at scale—including such seminal pieces as "Fountain," "Nude Descending a Staircase" and the "Large Glass"—this new edition from editor Mathieu Mercier is one of our most highly sought-after limited editions—back in stock and already rare.
