Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin releases today!

Independent bookstores rejoice! October 9 has finally arrived and Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin is now available worldwide! Held under strict embargo until today, this whopping 400-page collection of rare artworks, previously unpublished images and documents unearthed from the vaults of Atlantic Records is the only official book ever authored by the living members of the band. "I experienced unimaginable creative peaks and vivid adventure, often played out against a relentless emotional landscape," Robert Plant is quoted in his Epilogue. "There were no instructions inside the box we opened, no preparation for the journey, no clues, no destinations. So rough and ragged, joyous and ecstatic, and gone." Pictured here, clockwise from top left, are Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham, photographed by Dick Barnatt in December, 1968.
