"Musio" prototype (2016) by Gina Leon and Zos Lee for AKA is reproduced from
CORY REYNOLDS | DATE 5/22/2017

How do you feel about objects having feelings? Hello, Robot!

Why, Hello, Robot! AKA’s 2016 “Musio” educational robot for kids and adolescents is reproduced from the Vitra Design Museum’s awesome new survey of design and intelligent machines—in industry, the military, children’s rooms, retirement homes, shopping, sex, art, games, films and literature. Not only is the content cool (to say the least), but the layout was designed by an algorithm (in collaboration with Double Standards, Berlin). And yes, the cover is debossed in a radiant geometric pattern, so that you feel every ridge when you hold it.

Hello, Robot.

Hello, Robot.
