Los Angeles, as well as his bungalow, "Villa Le Reve," are his playgrounds, and everyone he shoots rises to the occasion: he captures Robert Plant playing soccer in his underwear, Peter Frampton sailing shirtless, Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols swimming in the photographer's own pool, Joan Jett lounging in her room at the Tropicana Motel… and of course plenty of scantily-clad girls around swimming pools and at house parties. The way he captured the world around him at this time is still a reference for modern style."
