Provocation and inspiration in 'David Casavant Archive'

David Casavant Archive is a provocative survey of stylist and fashion archivist David Casavant’s ever-expanding collection of recent-vintage designer clothing—based primarily on a foundation of late '90s and early 2000s "conceptual" menswear by Raf Simons, Jil Sander and Helmut Lang. Casavant’s archive of more than 5000 pieces is regularly put into service by artists, friends and celebrities like Kanye West, who contributes this 2018 screenshot to the book. Other contributors who created artwork from the archives include Xavier Cha, DeSe Escobar, Eric Mack, Ryan Mcnamara, Joyce NG, Raul de Nieves, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Jacolby Satterwhite, Heji Shin, Ryan Trecartin, Wu Tsang and Boychild, Stewart Uoo, Thomas Eggerer and Maggie Lee.
