Galerie Patrick Seguin

When people speak today of the Design Art movement, they won’t talk for long without mentioning Patrick Seguin, arguably the most prominent pioneer in the field. Based in the spectacular 300 square feet gallery in Bastille since 1989, Seguin has set himself up as the world's leading expert on French Post-War Design. Seguin's understanding of the period has resulted in a clutch of exhibitions that received global applause, notably the Jean Prouve retrospective at Sonnabend Gallery in New York, the Charlotte Perriand - Jean Prouve exhibition at the LA Gagosian, and an exhibition of furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, at Sonnabend Gallery in New York. Galerie Patrick Seguin publishes extensive, ambitious catalogs, with quality reproductions and high production values.
