Andrew Moore Book Signing at The Strand

ARTBOOK, Damiani Editore and the Strand Book Store invite you to join photographer ANDREW MOORE in conversation with authors JACQUELINE LOSS and JOSE MANUEL PRIETO, followed by a signing of Moore's best-selling monograph, CUBA. In September, Moore's hauntingly beautiful photographs accompanied John Jeremiah Sullivan's cover story on Cuba for The New York Times Magazine. At the Strand Moore will speak candidly about his experiences photographing there over a 14 year period. He'll be joined by professor/writer Jacqueline Loss, who has written extensively on Cuba-Russia relations, and Cuban born writer Jose Manuel Prieto, author of the internationally acclaimed Nocturnal Butterflies of the Russian Empire. Loss and Prieto also co-edited the book Caviar with Rum: Cuba-USSR and the Post-Soviet Experience . For more information, visit The Strand's website.
