Donald Judd: Writings

From the late 50s to the mid-70s, Donald Judd's impassioned, sometimes scathing art writing appeared in numerous "trade" magazines, including Arts, Arts Magazine and Art International. Some of the most influential artist writings of the twentieth century, these essays were gathered, in 1975, in the seminal book, Donald Judd: Complete Writings 1959–1975, appropriately subtitled, "Gallery Reviews, Book Reviews, Articles, Letters to the Editor, Reports, Statements, Complaints." Now there is a new, must-have 1,056-page edition. Featuring little-known texts previously published in limited editions, unpublished college essays, and hundreds of never-before-seen handwritten notes, in addition to Judd's best-known essays, it is available at our store at Frieze New York!
