Reviewing The Museum of Fine Arts Boston's new Art of the Americas Wing, The New York Times' Holland Cotter writes, "Five years after breaking ground, the new Art of the Americas Wing at the Museum of Fine Arts ... [is] a wow. Almost double-wow. Really good. And given that this museum’s American colonial collection is the world’s best, more is definitely more." The same can be said for the museum's legendary bookstore. Open seven days a week, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Bookstore is located in the Shop at the Museum. Called "the hidden treasure of Boston bookstores" by booklovers, the bookstore stocks books of fine art, fiction, photography, architecture, design, and travel as well as antiquarian selections and kids' books.
