ARTBOOK @ FAIRS

ARTBOOK @ Paris Photo, Los Angeles

From April 30 - May 3, 2015, ARTBOOK presented a pop-up bookstore at Paris Photo Los Angeles at Paramount Pictures Studios.

Our store was located in BOOTH C5--housed inside the "Cafe" storefront on the New York City backlot right at the entrance to the fair. Our store featureed new, signed and collectible books and editions by the world's most prominent photography book publishers, including Ampersand, Contrasto, Damiani, The Ice Plant, The Museum of Modern Art, Nazraeli, Phaidon, Prestel, Radius, Rizzoli, STEIDL, Twin Palms and Walther König. Alongside these, we presented a selection of rare and out-of-print titles sourced through Lee Kaplan at Arcana: Books on the Arts.

Throughout the fair, we presented signings with photographers - listed at right. On Saturday, May 2, we launchedMetropolis Books' essential survey, Both Sides of Sunset: Photographing Los Angeles with a signing that gathered more than 50 artists featured in the book.

Limited editions included Both Sides of Sunset: Photographing Los Angeles prints by Mike Slack, Jeff Divine, Tim Street-Porter, Martin Hyers & William Mebane, John Humbel and Jane O'Neal; Visionaire's signed and numbered Art John Baldessari Platinum; and a signed and numbered out-of-print Lewis Baltz edition published by Steidl in 2010.
