ARTBOOK @ The New York Art Book Fair
Join ARTBOOK @ MoMA PS1 at the New York Art Book Fair, 2013. Our permanent bookstore, on the ground floor beside M. Wells Dinette, features New York's most daring and fine-tuned selection of books on art, photography, theory, and avant garde culture, while our magazine store, just inside the museum's entrance, was voted "Best Art Magazine Store" by New York Magazine last year. Offsite, in collaboration with PictureBox and ForYourArt, we are proud to present In the Good Name of the Company: Artworks and ephemera produced by or in tandem with the Colby Printing Company, organized by Jan Tumlir, Brian Roettinger and Christopher Michlig. On view Friday - Sunday at See.Me Gallery (26-18 Jackson Ave, Long Island City). Opening reception is Friday, September 20th from 6-9 PM. On Saturday, September 21st at 7 PM, MOCAtv presents the premiere of 3 Union Shop, a short documentary about the Colby Poster Printing Company directed by Felipe Lima and C.R. Stecyk III.
Strongly supported by D.A.P. from its inception in 2006, The New York Art Book Fair is organized by the legendary New York non-profit, Printed Matter. Free and open to the public, the fair is attended by more than 400 international presses, booksellers, antiquarian dealers, artists and publishers and more than 15,000 visitors.
