"O is a major addition to diasporic literature. Already an accomplished artist who has exhibited internationally, Nguyen proves herself to be an equally powerful and engaging writer. O belongs on a shelf with Theresa Hak Kyung Cha's Dictée and Sophia Al-Maria's The Girl Who Fell to Earth: A Memoir." —John Yau

Tammy Nguyen creates paintings, drawings, artist books, prints, and zines that explore the intersections between geopolitics, ecology, and lesser-known histories. Her publishing practice, embodied through her imprint, Passenger Pigeon Press, creates and distributes Martha’s Quarterly, a subscription of artist books and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Mina Stone is the author of the cult-favorite Cooking for Artists (2015) and New York Times Best Cookbook of the Year Lemon, Love, Olive Oil (2021). For years she cooked delicious lunches at Urs Fischer's Brooklyn-based art studio as well as gallery dinners for New York’s art world. In 2019 she opened her own restaurant, Mina's, housed within MoMA’s PS1 in Long Island City, Queens. During the pandemic, Stone launched a biweekly "Cooking with Artists" series with MoMA Magazine to interview artists about their their relationship to cooking.
