Co-founded by former ARTBOOK | D.A.P. sales associate and art book obsessive Erin Dunigan, this three-day art book bonanza featuring artist books, exhibition catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, printed ephemera and artists' multiples is free and open to the public. Seventy international publishers, antiquarian dealers, artists, collectors and exhibitors will converge on Minnesota Street with books and editions ranging in price from five dollars to several hundred dollars. Launches, talks, performances and other programming are listed on the SF Art Book Fair site.

"San Francisco has a long history with the printed word, making it home to a vibrant community of art book producers and enthusiasts," Dunigan says. "The SFABF will provide local publishers an opportunity to showcase their talents, as well as introduce San Franciscans to an array of publishers from beyond the confines of California. With over 70 exhibitors this is the city’s first large scale art book fair, and we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the positive response from our colleagues in the publishing world and beyond. We look forward to a dynamic weekend, and hope it affirms and strengthens the vitality of art book publishing in the Bay Area."
