Thomas Struth book signing at Dashwood

Friday, November 10 from 6-7 PM, Dashwood Books presents photographer Thomas Struth signing copies of his new monograph, published by D.A.P.

Thomas Struth book signing at Dashwood

Thomas Struth published by D.A.P. accompanies a major exhibition on view at Munich’s prestigious Haus der Kunst through January 2018. It includes extensive image and written material from his archive which provides information on an artistic development that has since the beginning attracted international attention and been discussed and honored within and outside Germany. From his first images of Düsseldorf streets in the 1970s to his latest works exploring research and globalization, Struth’s intensive occupation with contemporary universal topics comes to light. Questions about the relevance of the public space and the binding aspect of family cohesion, the importance of nature and culture, the limits and possibilities of new technologies find both general and individual expression in Struth’s images.
