McNally Jackson Launches Tamara Shopsin's 'What Is This?'

Join Tamara Shopsin downstairs at McNally Jackson, Prince Street, Saturday, September 12 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM for a hands-on launch event for her new children's book from The Ice Plant! Come away with a piece of original art—by you!

McNally Jackson Launches Tamara Shopsin's 'What Is This?'

McNally Jackson welcomes What Is This? author Tamara Shopsin, known for her work in The New York Times, Newsweek, Time, Good, and Wired. Kids and adults will love meeting the creator of this charming book designed to encourage abstract thinking. Shopsin will be joined by her husband, Jason Fulford, co-author of This Equals That, last year's cool breakout children's book and a favorite of kids, adults, artists and museum curators. Shopsin and Fulford will help kids create fantastic artworks inspired by What Is This? And yes, they will be working with black spaghetti. Hosted by Yvonne Brooks. Free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
