STEIDL at Privet Lives

Now through February 28, Privet Lives, sister-store of Privet House home goods, antiques and curiosities emporium in New Preston, Connecticut, presents a gorgeously installed concept store featuring books by STEIDL and framed photography from the Washington Depot gallery, KMR Arts. Visit Thursday through Sunday, 11AM - 5:30PM.

Privet Lives calls itself an "ever evolving space celebrating brands, designers and artisans we admire and promising an extraordinary shopping experience that will enrich the community." In addition to extraordinary books like William Eggleston: Before Color, Juergen Teller: Woo, Karl Lagerfeld: The Little Black Jacket and Patrick Demarchelier, the walls of Privet Lives feature photographs by such renowned artists as Horst P. Horst and Elliott Erwitt.
