Hans Ulrich Obrist to launch 'Somewhere Totally Else' at MoMA PS1 Book Space

Hans Ulrich Obrist's new book, Somewhere Totally Else (JRP|Ringier) compiles the Swiss curator's weekly thoughts on culture into an anthology that cements what we already knew about Obrist: he is curious, dedicated and gifted, and his writings meld those positives into small, jumbled stories. Somewhere Totally Else gathers Obrist's diary-like entries from 2012-17 in Das Magazine, the weekend insert of the Swiss-national newspaper, Tages Anzeiger. As a cultural contributor, Obrist reports weekly on global events from a quite personal perspective—the entries read as warm and dear, with two to three small pages dedicated to stories of experiences with contemporary artists, Obrist's morning rituals, new technologies up for review, and more. Illustrations by David Shrigley.
