Come see us at Art Basel Miami Beach 2023!

Books are urgent, books make the best gifts, and let's remember: bookstores are fun! Since 2003, Artbook has been honored to run the contemporary art bookstore at Art Basel Miami Beach. Each season, we tune our selection of books and limited editions to correspond to the list of artists on view at the fair, with additional care taken to represent related local and international exhibitions and happenings, as well as the newest and best in theory and curatorial practices.

Pick up a signed book by Anastasia Samoylova

Please swing by our pop-up bookstore on opening day for a 4 PM signing with Russian-born, Miami-based photographer Anastasia Samoylova, whose new Hatje Cantz monograph, Image Cities, studies the proliferation of photographic images in urban environments across the world.

This year, we're celebrating the long-anticipated launch of Remember to Dream: 100 Artists, 100 Notes, published by Heni and edited by Hans Ulrich Obrist. So it's fitting that our 2023 tote quotes Obrist, who has always made books a central part of his curatorial practice. These heavy-duty bags are $20 in-store or free with purchases of $100 or more.

Featured titles

Every year a few quintessential titles get stacked up in our Miami pop-up, and this year we're feeling special love for two from Pippa Garner: $ell Your $elf (advance copies) from Pioneer Works and Art Omi and Better Living Catalog (rare copies from the sold-out edition) from Primary Information.
