Wednesday September 14, from 7:-8:30 PM, the Strand Book Store presents a panel on Art, Literature and Design in the Digital Age. Moderated by Brooklyn Rail founder and publisher Phong Bui, the panel includes Michael Bierut of Pentagram design, Dan Simon, of Seven Stories Press, Paula Cooper, gallerist and founder of 192 Books, and our own Sharon Helgason Gallagher.
This group of experts will delve into the ever-evolving debate around the idea that “print is dead” in the digital age. With well-founded optimism, each panelist will share his or her experiences with the medium of print, and discuss how it has continued to grow and even flourish in the 21st century. You see, print matters. But what is the future of print?
