Artbook @ MoMA PS1 presents "Sound Studies: ray ferreira, DeForrest Brown Jr., Bob Bellerue"

Join us in the MoMA PS1 Book Space on Saturday, April 28 from 3PM-5PM for a presentation and discussion titled "Sound Studies: ray ferreira, DeForrest Brown Jr., Bob Bellerue."

Artbook @ MoMA PS1 presents "Sound Studies: ray ferreira, DeForrest Brown Jr., Bob Bellerue"

Sound Studies is a monthly series that presents readings and multi-disciplinary works that explore sound through text or performance, critical engagement with music, sound art, live practices and histories, and investigations into the effects and affects of the sonic environment. The series considers sound in all of its expansiveness, and invites artists and thinkers across disciplines to present work, followed by a short discussion. Sound Studies is a collaborative, experimental research initiative in the form of an event series.

For this second edition of Sound Studies, we’ll hear from three interdisciplinary artists: ray ferreira, DeForrest Brown, Jr. and Bob Bellerue. The series is organized by artist Eames Armstrong.

This event is free and open to the public.
