Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line celebrates the groundbreaking poster designs of Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) and their influence on both Art Nouveau and subsequent graphic-design movements. Produced by Mucha Foundation and D.A.P., Timeless Mucha explores not only the extraordinary breadth of Mucha’s impact on contemporary visual culture—from the psychedelic rock posters and album covers of the Rolling Stones and the Grateful Dead to Japanese manga, street art, and typography—but also his essential contribution to the art of message-making.

Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line is published to accompany the exhibition on view at the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., through May 18, 2025.
