Their conversation, moderated by James Powell, will reflect on Harris’ recent Queens Museum exhibition, co-curated by Haynes, and the accompanying book, Lyle Ashton Harris: Our first and last love. They will also discuss the intersection of Harris’ artwork with contemporary social and political themes, highlighting his personal narratives of struggle and moments of self-discovery.
