Dosunmu began his versatile career as a design assistant at luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. He gained popularity in the United States after directing music videos for acclaimed artists such as Common and Tracy Chapman, and eventually went on to photograph numerous commercials for print & TV advertising for companies such as AT&T, Levi’s and Showtime. Dosunmu’s images have also been featured in Vogue, i-D, The FADER and Interview, and he’s been commissioned by international brands such as Converse and Nike.

Andrew Dosunmu: Monograph is a collection of Dosunmu’s personal body of work that, until now, has never been published. This collection of portraits spanning roughly two decades is a celebration of, in Dosunmu’s words, “both the seamlessness and dissimilarity” that exist between cultures all over the globe.
