Lisa S. Roberts, collector, curator and former host of reality TV show My Design Life, signs copies of her new book DesignPOP (Rizzoli), a survey of trends in contemporary furniture and products that reveals how design is not only changing with the times-it is inventing the future.

Michele Oka Doner signing copies of her book Miami Beach: Blueprint of an Eden: Lives Seen Through the Prism of Family and Place, following her talk with Richard Kauffman and Drew Aaron.

Nikolai and Simon Haas sign copies of their new book The Haas Brothers. Their work is currently on view in NYC at R & Company gallery.

Jeanne Gang, James Balog, Tom Kundig and Joseph Grima will speak on the topic of architecture and design in a changing environment. Books by the speakers will be available.

Peter Marino, Design Miami Designer of the Year, will speak with Rodman Primack, new Director of Design Miami. Copies of Marino's book, published to accompany his show at the Bass Museum, will be available.

Artist Theaster Gates in conversation with architect David Adjaye. Books by both Gates and Adjaye will be available.

Saturday | December 6 | 3 - 4pm | Design Talks

Marella Chia speaks with Design Miami director Rodman Primack about the legendary Marella Agnelli. Chia will sign copies of her new book Marella Agnelli: The Last Swan (Rizzoli).

Design Miami's Design Talks program presents the design world's most compelling current topics, bringing together the creatives, collectors and critics actively influencing design discourse and production. Presented by The Surf Club Hotel and Residences, the 2014 Talks Series takes place from December 3-5, 3-4pm and 6-7pm.
