The evening was sponsored by Casa Dragones tequila, a new artisanal brand whose exquisite packaging and branding are inspired by the rich heritage of Mexican engraving artists, as seen in books such as Mexico Illustrated 1920-1950 and Posada: Mexican Engraver, both from Editorial RM. The fashion and art crowd in attendance included Lisa Love from Vogue, artists Chris Johanson and Jo Jackson, stylist Patrik Milani, Ooga Booga's Wendy Yao, Roman Alonso from Commune, photo editor Emma Reeves, GLEE co-creator Ian Brennan and actor David Arquette. The evening's organizer, Caitlin Rider, enlisted her partner, the artist Christopher Garrett, to spin the tunes, which, combined with the spirits, kept the party going well past its end time. |
