Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore signings and launch events at the NYABF 2018

Join Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore during the NY Art Book Fair September 20-23! Artbook Editions will launch "New World Foods lighting the Old World," an Antoni Miralda Limited-Unlimited print, during the opening on Thursday evening from 7-9PM. Friday through Sunday, we will be hosting signings with Lori Waxman, Charles H. Traub, and Nick Zinner, Zachary Lipez and Stacy Wakefield. Talks, panels, readings and presentations include Matthew Craven, Carmen Winant, Patrick Waterhouse, Emma Kemp, Laura Wexler and Jo Ann Walters of Image Text Ithaca, Jan Voss, Francesca Capone, and Leonhard Hurzlmeier and Christian Ganzenberg, plus a panel on Children’s Books and the Influence of Bruno Munari. Magazine and book launches include Issue 2 of mag@zine: Print, Gender, Sex by Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Magazine Store with Actual Source, Issue 3 of Mold Magazine and Recto / Verso: Art Publishing in Practice, New York, the culmination of the recent month-long event series co-presented by Hauser & Wirth Publishers and Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore. All this, plus thousands of new, rare and surprising art books and periodicals can be found in our Magazine Store in the MoMA PS1 lobby and our amazing new 2,000 square foot permanent Bookstore and Book Space on the first floor of the museum.

will celebrate the launch of its third issue, Food Waste, at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.

3 PM: Carmen Winant, Maia Ruth Lee, Molly Prentiss and Durga Chew-Bose will deliver an experimental presentation that expands upon the central themes of My Birth, published by Image Text Ithaca and SPBH Editions, at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.

5 PM: Patrick Waterhouse will celebrate the launch of Restricted Images, published by SPBH Editions, with a discussion on the book’s collaborative process and issues of representation at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.

will participate in a panel discussion on Children’s Books and the Influence of Bruno Munari at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.

3:30 PM: Francesca Capone will celebrate the launch of her new artists’ book, Woven Places, published by Some Other Books, and her book Weaving Language II: Language is Image, Paper, Code, & Cloth, published by information as material, with readings by Desiree C. Bailey, Charity Coleman, Audra Wolowiec, L.A. Warman and Emily Skillings at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.

4:30 PM: Leonhard Hurzlmeier and Christian Ganzenberg will sign Neue Frauen, published by Hatje Cantz, at Artbook @ MoMA PS1 Bookstore, First Floor.
