Friday, July 17, from 3–4 PM, the LACMA Store presents a conversation between Audrey Sands, author, historian and curator who specializes in 20th-century American photography, and LACMA curator Rebecca Morse, followed by a book signing for Lisette Model: The Jazz Pictures. In this new book, Sands highlights street photographer Lisette Model's photographs of jazz musicians, along with a text by Langston Hughes, published for the first time.

This event is hosted by the LACMA Store at the David Geffen Galleries and is free with no RSVP required. After the event, L.A. County residents can access the museum for free. Guests are also invited to enjoy live music at a free Jazz at LACMA concert with the Ray Fuller Band.
