The dreamlike landscapes of Swiss painter Noemi Pfister (born 1991) are inhabited by distorted subjects lounging on skateboards or scrolling on their phones. While her formal language borrows from Old Master works, the figures' clothing, postures and props are unmistakable motifs of contemporary youth culture.
