Nicknamed the "Chancellor photographer," Konrad Rufus Mueller is famous for his portrait studies of German chancellors, although over the course of his lengthy career he has depicted heads of state and cultural personalities from all over the world, including François Mitterrand, Anwar Sadat, Gerhard Schröder, Luis Trenker, Friedrich Dürrenmatt and Sergiu Celibidache. Less well known are Müller's landscape photographs and his still lifes, which this volume gathers, alongside his documentary series The People of Lech.
