First published in 2012, this revised edition of Contemporary Art Theory, expanding on the work of Slovenian curator, writer and cultural theorist Igor Zabel (1958–2005), also includes an extensive essay on the Slovenian OHO group, and a new postface by writer and curator Charles Esche on the relevance of Zabel’s thinking today. The volume focuses in particular on case studies illustrating complex East–West relations within the international art system after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
