Executed in bright watercolors on large-format paper, Spehr enhances the voyeuristic perspective by integrating the works into walk-in cardboard structures, as if the viewer is tresspassing on a private space, where the ordinary becomes discomfiting. This catalogue gives an excellent overview of the recent work of one of Germany's leading young painters.
