Anthony McCall Book Launch at Sean Kelly Gallery

Tuesday, February 18, from 6:30 to 8pm: Sean Kelly and ARTBOOK | D.A.P invite you to the launch of Anthony McCall: 1970s Works on Paper, the most comprehensive publication to date of rarely seen drawings and photographs by McCall from the 1970s.

To celebrate the newly released monograph, McCall will appear in conversation with noted art historian Noam M. Elcott, an expert on McCall's work. They will discuss the works on paper in the book, as well as the relationship of those works to the performances and films he was also producing during the 1970s.

Published by Walther König Verlag, 1970s Works on Paper includes an essay by Anne M. Wagner that offers a perspective on McCall's early preoccupation with temporality and the different approaches and mediums he used to that end.
