Since 2003, Artbook has run the contemporary bookstore at Art Basel Miami Beach. We are also the official distributor for the Art Basel catalog.
Each season, Artbook at Art Basel Miami Beach tailors its selection of books and limited editions to correspond to the list of artists on view at the fair, with additional care taken to represent related local and international exhibitions and happenings, as well as the newest and best in theory and curatorial practices.

 Our booth at the 2022 fair, featuring totes emblazoned with the indelible Hans Ulrich Obrist quote, BOOKS ARE URGENT, which we took as the cri de coeur of our store. Every year, our booth features the very best new and classic contemporary art monographs and exhibition catalogs, as well as rare, signed and out of print inventory. In 2022, we were proud to preview Bokförlaget Stolpe's remarkable, long-awaited seven-volume Hilma af Klint: The Complete Catalogue Raisonné.  Following her talk with American vocalist, record producer, songwriter, musician, author and actress Nona Bernis Hendryx and curator and notorious book defender Hans Ulrich Obrist, Carrie Mae Weems was gracious to sign many copies of her new retrospective catalogue, A Great Turn in the Possible, which we are proud to have published with esteemed Barcelona art foundation, Fundación Mapfre—in addition to many copies of her classic photobook, The Kitchen Table Series, published by MW Editions. Thanks to painter Jameson Green for signing advance copies of his forthcoming book from Derek Eller Gallery.  Project Backboard custom court designer Luis Perez models his book selection at the 2022 fair.
 There's nothing we love more than seeing fairgoers engage with our books.

CORY REYNOLDS | DATE 12/2/2019Visit Artbook Bookstore December 5–8, 2019, in the West Lobby of the Miami Beach Convention Center! The bookstore is outside of the ticketed area and open to the public. In addition to art monographs, major surveys, holiday gift and children's books, we are pleased to offer photo editions from Damiani and Skira, as well as a selection of wares from Third Drawer Down and AREAWARE. In-store signings are with AA Bronson, Elmgreen & Dragset and Jose Dávila. Art|Basel Conversations book signings in the West Lobby auditorium are with Hans Ulrich Obrist, Precious Okoyomon, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Antwaun Sargeant, David Wallace-Wells and Alexis Rockman.
