Intentionally omitting the words "interior architecture," the book invites readers to reconsider the boundaries and multiple definitions of the discipline. What remains invisible in the glossary of terms is made explicit through the archival material of the department's most iconic projects and the narratives they have generated over the years.
Mainly produced for the 2024 symposium, Nothing About, the volume's texts theoretically interrogate what a school is and could be. Positioned at the intersection of a design school, a research institute and a professional office, HEAD merges teaching, investigation and practice, serving as a laboratory for developing and testing hypotheses on urgent issues, such as ecology, inclusivity, technology and media.
