In this collaboration between Singaporean artist Theseus Chan (born 1961), Gerhard Steidl and Kunsthaus Göttingen (where Chan showed the work as part of Documenta 15), the collaborators made use of discarded test sheets for binding, shut off water on press to create unpredictable color patterns and exchanged CMYK colors for fluorescent variants—all to redefine the traditions of offset printing.
