Alessandra Borghese & Alessandra d’Urso: For Friends
A beautifully produced, ten- volume slipcased object, For Friends is an homage to travel and friendship showcasing intimate weekends enjoyed among friends in some of the world’s most beautiful and exclusive locations. Conceived by Alessandra Borghese, the book contains photographs by Alessandra d’Urso in settings such as the Borghese palace in Montevettolini, Jacques Garcia’s Château du Champ-de-Bataille in Normandy, and private islands on the Rosario archipelago of Cartagena. Here we glimpse a cosmopolitan mix of artists, designers, writers, entrepreneurs and aristocrats enjoying moments of leisure and conversation. Each of the nine weekends is presented in an individual volume, which together form a meditative photographic diary.
