The latest installment in Hatje Cantz's documentation of the photographers of Finland and the abiding themes in their work The sixth volume in Hatje Cantz’s Helsinki School, The Nature of Being looks at the various approaches used by the photographers in this group to conceptualize nature. The stated goal is not to limit oneself to purely physical depictions of animals, plants and landscapes: days, months and seasons become the points of crystallization for time.
