| | | Park Life & Park Life IIPark Life is an independent retail and gallery space based in San Francisco. The original store, located in the Inner Richmond District, was opened in 2006 by Jamie Alexander and Derek Song with the simple goal of showcasing the most relevant art and design products from around the world. Park Life features hard to find limited editions and unique items that include; books, modern design objects, gifts, prints, paper goods, tee-shirts, homewares, a few toys, magazines, DVDs, jewelry, artist multiples and more. This location also includes a gallery space featuring the most engaging contemporary art being created today. Park Life Gallery holds 10 exhibits each year.
8 years later, the duo has opened a second store in San Francisco’s thriving Mission District. Park Life II is situated in a gorgeous turn-of-the-century building on a quiet corner of this bustling neighborhood. The new store continues to carry a similar assortment of urbane home goods, books, stationery, art and T-shirts, with a slightly different slant. While there is no room for a gallery, an active events calendar and collaborations with nearby arts and culture organizations will make Park Life II a destination for art and design lovers in San Francisco and beyond.
