Hasani Sahlehe (born 1991) makes tactile, vividly colored paintings that explore perception, memory and the emotional resonance of color and form. He builds his works up in bold harmonizing bands of color by pouring pigmented acrylic on top of hazy mists of airbrushed paint applied directly to the raw canvas.
