Pantaleón Ruiz (born 1974) is a Mexican artist born to a family of traditional Zapotec weavers in Oaxaca. Strongly influenced by artists such as Rufino Tamayo and Francisco Toledo, he makes colorful drawings, paintings, sculptures and tapestries featuring imagery of animals and nature.
