Born in Mexico City, Minerva Cuevas (born 1975) has developed an artistic practice that questions power dynamics between humans and nonhumans. Her conceptual works and public interventions offer a critique of neoliberalism and address debates over resource extraction, forced displacement and environmental devastation.

Mexico City–based conceptual artist Minerva Cuevas (born 1975) is best known for her site-specific interventions guided by social and political research. Envisioned as a research tool itself, this monograph gathers a generous selection of Cuevas' projects from the 1990s through the present.
