Themes of bodily struggle and creativity in the art of a major collection Launched in 1994, the D.Daskalopoulos Collection is a vast but focused collection of work by leading contemporary international and Greek artists. The art included focuses on the human body as a source of creativity and the vessel of existential, social and ideological struggle. The collection gives prominence to large-scale installations and sculptures, as well as drawing, collage, film and video. This volume surveys these works.
