Intrigued by the Mappa di Bedolina, a famous Valcamonica rock painting, Franca Ghitti undertook the creation of imaginary and poetic topologies. Using different pieces of wood juxtaposed with iron, sand and carpenters' scraps, she copied the prehistoric model of the rock painting, inspired in part by the title of an article by Italo Calvino.
