Born in 1971 in Seoul, photographer Noh Suntag works in both North and South Korea, examining the ambivalences and breaches within and between these two societies. His photos combine the documentary with the fictional, the snapshot with strict composition, always highlighting a certain state of emergency. This volume features works from 2000 through 2007.
